My thoughts about "The Earth on Turtle's Back

This short story talks about a story of life almost similar to a folktale of that Adam and Eve. But the only difference is that there is a tree that contains water and a female envisioned the great from the tree to be uprooted. Soon the Ancient chief pulled the roots out which contained water and she fell in the opening. When she fell she carried seeds which would be important later. She was saved by two Swans and each animal under the tree had experience with water and all tried to bring earth up for the female. All failed but a Muskrat volunteered to try he knew he was weaker then all the birds and swimmer animals he attempted even though he knew the cost but he didn't give up he touched the bottom of the sea. The rat had Earth in his paws and a old turtle took the burden of carrying Earth. From there Earth grew and grew into a whole world. From there the swans flew her up and she had the seeds from earlier which would eventually grow plants, and trees.
My thought: Seems like a retelling of how earth was made kind of deal.
