ANCIENT STORIES

1Q:.How is the language in this text similar to and/or different from the language you use in everyday conversation?
A:Well old writing is pretty outdated come on who uses thee or thou in modern day society. But old writers such as Shakespeare were the first original writers to contain some old English. But we don't use old English in everyday life because it's probably not normal.

2Q:Because it began as an oral story, "Earth on Turtle's Back" can be found in multiple text versions.  How important is it for a story to be repeated word for word?  Is meaning embellished, distorted, lost, or enhanced in the retelling?(This is something I made a made a blog post  about previously here's were to read it http://www.brooksidemuseum.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/earth-on-turtles-back.pdf)
A:I feel like this is a retelling of some old ancient story to fit modern day society with simple animals and a straight forward story. I can compare this story to the mythical story Yggdrasil or Adam and Eve from the bible. But all have one thing in common they are all fiction stories.
