LETTER TO A MENTOR DRAFT 1
Dear Hironobu Sakaguchi,
I want to ask for some advice on where the direction of video games are heading. In my class we are working on our big questions and mine happen to be around video games. I asked myself "Will video games or virtual reality be able to help in the medical field". At first this seems like a silly ideal I came up with it but VR is soon coming and some people have some sort of disease that prevent humans from doing certain actions. And FFXIV happens to be a MMORPG which consists of real players playing as A.I. charater but if scientist were able to make some sorta 3D models of patients and make them experience things they couldn't do in the real world such as flying, swimming in lava and such. Also I´m a huge fan of your work after all I anticipate FFXV soon to come. But a sheer of light to guide me will be of most help to understand this question.
